We are Sarah and Hubert, and together with our sons Hugo and Bruno we live at Villa Monteleone, a place that has quietly become our home.

Surrounded by nature, high on a Tuscan hilltop, we found exactly what we were looking for: space, calm and a slower rhythm of life. A place where days unfold naturally and where being outside is part of everyday living.

​

Villa Monteleone is set within a protected nature reserve, overlooking the Arno valley. It offers a rare combination of privacy and openness. A place where you feel away from it all, while everything Tuscany has to offer is still within reach.

We carefully restored the villa to preserve its character, while creating a comfortable and welcoming space for guests.

​

For us, this is more than a place to stay. It’s where we live, where our children grow up, and where we love to welcome people who appreciate the same sense of peace, nature and simplicity.

Originally from the Netherlands, we are a welcoming and life-loving family building a new chapter here in Tuscany. Sarah has a background in styling and real estate, and developed a deep love for Italian wine, cuisine and the surrounding nature, even completing her first level sommelier training in Italy.

Hubert is an active and passionate walker, often exploring the area with their two dogs, or working in the garden. Together, we enjoy discovering local life from antique markets to small villages, wine tastings and long dinners with friends.
